Once testing is complete results will be turned into the Covington Water District.
While we would all hope that every homeowner would be interested in keeping their home value up as high as possible, we know that at times, compliance issues are not at the forefront of our busy schedules.
Every May and November the Architectural Control Committee will walk through the neighborhood to make sure we are all in compliance with the CC&R's.
We have a top 10 point checklist we follow:
1. Exterior Paint in good shape--no peeling, missing paint, pest infestation, not be faded in color or pigment, etc (Article 5, Section 5.4 of the CC&R’s; Amendment 3.5.7)
2. Roof in good shape—no moss, pest infestation, no missing pieces, etc (Article 5, Section 5.4 of the CC&R’s; Amendment 3.5.7)
3. Gutters moss and substance free (Article 5, Section 5.4 of the CC&R’s; Amendment 3.5.7)
4. Fence in good shape—no broken or missing boards, no broken posts, no mismatched repair work, gates attached and able to close properly, etc (Article 5, Section 5.4 of the CC&R’s; Amendment 3.5.7)
5. Garage Door in good shape—no dents, gouges or missing paint, etc (Article 5, Section 5.4 of the CC&R’s; Amendment 3.5.7)
6. Driveway moss free (Article 5, Section 5.4 of the CC&R’s; Amendment 3.5.7)
7. Sidewalks moss free and not obstructed, lawn edge abutting sidewalk kept trimmed back, etc (Article 5, Section 5.4 of the CC&R’s; Amendment 3.5.7)
8. Cars parked in approved areas (Article 6, Section 6.6.1, 6.6.2, 6.6.3, 6.6.5 of the CC&R’s)
9. Lawn, bushes and trees maintained and in good shape (Article 5, Section 5.4 of the CC&R’s; Amendment 3.5.7)
10. Miscellaneous items, including, but not limited to, items stored in undesignated areas, large antennas, garbage cans left out, etc (Article 6, Section 6.13, 6.14, 6.17 of the CC&R’s)
